Warning this is a long one.....stick with me.......
It was a crazy week this week with pick up for this week's auction. Thank you to all who came in and were patient if you had any kind of a wait this week. We had a full team working their tails off to make it as seamless as possible.
We are in a very busy time right now with back to back auctions happening every two weeks which gives us very little time to breakdown and setup again for the next one. With that said....space is also limited. When you register to bid on an auction and win items it is expected that you honor your obligation to pay and pick up your items on the scheduled pick up dates and times. We completely understand if something out of your control happens and you can't make it, we aren't unreasonable however we are seeing an increase in bidders not showing up to gather their winnings. This hurts us. We have a small closet we can "hold" items. We don't have excess warehouse space to house furniture for days on end. I truly hate negative posts but I feel we need to clear the air on what the expectation is. Most of us remember the days of in person auctions, you attended, bid, paid and removed your items all in one day...well online really; in theory isn't any different other than we can all bid conveniently from wherever we happen to be. Hey I've been on an island and been able to answer all your online questions, and shutdown auctions, it's great and you get 2 days to pay and pick up your winnings not just one!
So please know we truly appreciate you all and love what we do but we ask you to please do your part and complete the transaction so we can continue to keep the fun stuff coming though. Without space this is impossible...... ask yourself how you'd feel if this was your business.
